We had dinner the other night in one of the many restaurants found on Wanfujing Street. A very quick 10 minutes from the Park Plaza, this area in Beijing is known as the Wanfujing Night Market, home of the famous Snack Street, where you can eat all sorts of very interesting things.
I wouldn’t say Snack Street is a foodie’s delight, but it is fun to watch all the action of vendors trying to get you to sample their scorpion or seahorse on a stick, among other delicacies. Regular fare like noodles and dumplings are also offered. Very lively and colourful, open only at night.
