Dorper Sheep Ram & Ewe Ranch

This past weekend I met me some real live cowboys. I was introduced to David through Facebook a few months ago – although I have never met him in person until now – I feel as though we’ve been friends forever. He and his partner Frank were so kind and gracious to invite our family up for Sunday brunch, but more importantly, to frolic with the spring lambs and talk to the animals.

Beautiful sweet babies.

The twins Buffy and Jody had to be bottle fed cause mama wasn’t able.

Lambies and their mommies have their own little barn. (I have to stop talking like this or I won’t be able to eat lamb again).

Look at David beaming. This is what greeted us upon our arrival, a cowboy that makes quiche. I just love him to bits!

Broiled Dates wrapped in Bacon, and Roasted Pepper & Sausage Quiche.

David’s famous Mandarin Orange Chicken & Pasta Salad.

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake. So what if it stuck in the pan and fell apart? It was still moist, sweet, sticky and delicious.

Pomegranate & Berry Jelly Mold. My kids gobbled it up.

Sugar high – the kids working off the soda pop, hot chocolate & desserts, followed by more animals…

Dixie & little Rascal, Phyllis (smaller alpaca cross) & Dillar, guard llama.

Heritage breed turkey, feeding “Dillar”.

I don’t dress my daughter, she picked out her own farm outfit.

Leena, with the wrench motif on her forehead.

Bruizer (black & white) and Leena.

Bailey kept nudging me and insisting I take his picture.

Thank you fellas for inviting us to this special place.
